A: The website migration service on offer at NTAhost is totally free of cost and involves moving all your web files, databases and e–mails from your current provider to your brand new web hosting account with us. We’ll also update all the configuration settings necessary for your web sites to be fully operational on our advanced cloud hosting platform.Our technicians are completely capable of moving any type of web site. With years of practical experience in the industry, they are experts in the inner workings of our hosting platform, our Control Panel and all other famous Control Panels. For them, moving a custom–built app with plenty of custom libraries is as easy as moving a plain WordPress weblog.

A: There are a lot of aspects to keep in mind – the total amount of files, the size of the database, the complexity of the website itself and the current workload of our website migration professionals, etc. That being said, we do try to carry out all website migrations in a 48–hour time window. Smaller sites are migrated faster – typically in under 24 hours.

A: Yeah. We’ll need the name of the site that you wish us to transfer. We will also need a way to log into your current hosting account so that we can get the content associated with your web site.

A: Customer privacy is indeed one of our greatest concerns – because of this, both our payment transaction page and our Control Panel login page are protected with enterprise–level SSL certificates. A: While we move your website, it will be available both in your web hosting account with us and in your account with your former hosting provider. Once the migration is finished, we’ll make sure that everything is functioning correctly and that the integrity of your content is not compromised before informing you that the migration is over. After that, we will instruct you how to transfer the domain name to your hosting account with us and how to update the DNS settings.

A: While we move your content, your web hosting provider will not be aware of the transfer at all. We won’t contact them in any way.

A: Yeah. We support all standard Linux–based web hosting platforms. We do not support Windows–based hosting platforms, because we don’t provide Windows hosting services ourselves.We also do not support proprietary website creation and management tools such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
